Hardly a town has changed so tremendously in the past few years as this beautiful town with around 8000 inhabitants, 60 km from Palma.

Even the view from the access road of the city will excite you. Sant Salvador – the Pilgrimage Church stands out prominently - embededed into the landscape of the Llevant range of hills. Artà is fascinating due to its fabulous location on the Seerra de Llevant, its view of the mountains and due to the proximity to numerous bays in the area such as the Cala Tora, the bays of Cala Ratjada and Colonia de St. Pere. Artà offers you a picturesque pedestrian zone with great bars, restaurants and shops. Also the medieval site Ses Paises is worth a visit as a daytrip. 

A special event is the weekly market day, always held ond Tuesdays, as well as the annual celebrations Sant Antoni the Easter parade or the festival for patron saint Sant Salvador.

Capdepera was built to provide the citizens and shipping routes from invaders and pirate attacks. The fortress of Capdepera is an impressing sight and will offer you an amazing panorama of the surrounding nature and the coastal areas. The popular swimming bays Cala Mesquida, Son Moll and Font de Sa Cala can be reached by car in just a few minutes. Capdepera´s weekly market is atmospheric, cheerful and an experience itself. Here the golf course Canyamel, Capdepera,Son Servera and Costa de los Pinos make the heart of the sports enthusiast beat a littler faster. After an extensive workout, you´ll find numerous small and cosy restaurants as a perfect end to the day.

Cala Ratjada

The orignal fishing village from the 17th century has had huge development in the past years. Previously, rays and  spiny lobsers were caught here and Cala Ratjada is still the second most important fishing port of Mallorca after Palma.

Even today you can find the famous spiny lobster houses, where the lobsters are kept alive in shallow seawater pools before sale. Today the romantic port is surrounded  by numerous restaurants and bars and thereby offers you numerous opportunities to go out. The villa March with its large park (Jardines March) has become an emblem of the city. The bays of Cala Ratjada are popular and very beautiful. Cala Ratjada makes every wish com true - bays, resaurants, nightlife, a variety of leisure activities, you will find a bit of everything here.

Manacor

In Manacor you can experience daily life in Mallorca.

The city is known for the special pearls made there but also for its furniture industry. At the same time, Manacor is not an industrial city but has maintained its typical Mallorcan flair. The surrounding areas are shaped by agriculture with large grain fields, fig tree and almond tree plantations. As a visitor to the city, it is worth the trip to the historic downtown with its narrow streets and many small shops. Porto Cristo

Porto Christo is situated on the east coast of the island in the region of (comarca) Llevant, approx. 63 kilometres to the east of the centre of Palma, on the Cala Manacor, a natural port bay between Morro de Sa Carabassa and the small Punta Pagell peninsula.

The bay has primarily been expanded as a yacht port and is a small seaside resort with numerous beautiful bays  such as Cala Magrana and a special excursion destination to the cave systems COVES de Drac. Classical concerts are held here daily on one of te largest underground lakes in the world - Martel Lake. The older areas of the former fihsing village are on the norhern side of the port. You will also be enchanted by the old town, really worth seeing with its narrow streets and numerous hirtorical buildings. The main focus is the colcal church Església Mare de Déu delCarme. The coastal area of the coast is noted for its countless hills and rock cliffs, with entrances mainly at sea level.
